After months of planning and preparation, we’re entering the final phase of our Windows 11 rollout across our client base.
Our team has already identified all compatible devices, run essential background cleanup tasks, and prepped machines to ensure a smooth upgrade process. Now, it’s time for the update to begin.
Over the next few weeks, users will begin seeing a popup notification on their computers inviting them to upgrade to Windows 11. The process is designed to be as seamless as possible:
Download Time: Around 20 minutes (depending on your internet connection).
Installation Time: Approximately 1 hour.
Postpone Option: If the timing isn’t convenient, users can delay the upgrade. The prompt will reappear the following day.
We recommend scheduling the upgrade at the end of your workday or during a quieter period to minimise disruption.
Windows 10 reaches end of life in October 2025. That means no more security updates or support from Microsoft, increasing the risk of vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
By upgrading now, you’ll:
Stay protected with the latest security features.
Gain access to a modern, streamlined interface.
Benefit from improved performance, especially on newer hardware.
Avoid the last-minute rush as October approaches.
Most users will be able to complete the update independently, but we’re here to support anyone who needs assistance. If you run into any issues or have questions about the upgrade, don’t hesitate to contact the helpdesk.
Let’s get ahead of the deadline and keep your systems secure, up to date, and running at their best.
